Beloved couple, every home has an atmosphere. You can feel it the moment you walk in. Some homes are heavy. Some homes are light. Some homes are tense even when the people are smiling. Some homes are peaceful even when the people are tired. What is the difference? The atmosphere. And the atmosphere is set by what is allowed under the roof.

Hear me clearly. The Holy Ghost is a Person. Persons can be grieved. Persons can be quenched. Persons can withdraw. And when the Person of the Holy Ghost withdraws from a home, peace goes with Him. The atmosphere is not what your home looks like. It is what your home feels like in the spirit. Today we guard it.

The Holy Ghost Can Be Grieved

Friend, look at the list. Bitterness. Wrath. Anger. Clamour. Evil speaking. Malice. These are not just bad behaviors, they are spiritual irritants. They grieve the Holy Ghost. The same Holy Ghost you welcomed in on Day 2, He can be hurt by what you allow in your house on Day 5. He does not slam the door behind Him. He does not announce His withdrawal. He simply recedes. And by the time you notice the peace is gone, He has been mourning for weeks.

Guard the Heart, Guard the Home

Watch this, beloved. Out of the heart come the issues of life. The atmosphere of the home is downstream from the heart of the spouses. If the heart is bitter, the home will smell bitter no matter how clean it looks. If the heart is forgiving, the home will smell of forgiveness no matter how worn the furniture is. The atmosphere of your home is the temperature of your heart, multiplied by two.

So we do not start by changing the house. We start by guarding the heart. What are you rehearsing in your mind about your spouse? What story have you been telling yourself when they are not in the room? What old wound have you been pulling out of the drawer to look at again? Friend, that is the air you are about to breathe out into your house. Whatever you cultivate in the heart, you exhale into the atmosphere.

Unity Releases the Anointing

Beloved, Psalm 133 is the picture of anointing-flow in a home in agreement. Where there is unity, there is oil. The oil ran down, from the head, to the beard, all the way to the skirts of the garment. Nothing was left dry. In a home of unity, the anointing reaches every corner. The children get touched. The kitchen gets touched. The bedroom gets touched. The finances get touched. The atmosphere itself becomes carrier of the oil.

A long time ago, a wife came to Mum and said her children were misbehaving and she could not understand why. Listen. When we prayed, the Holy Ghost did not point her to the children. He pointed her to the air in the home, and the way she and her husband had been quietly fighting for months without ever raising their voices. The children were absorbing what the parents were withholding. The moment those two repented together, asked the Holy Ghost to return, and recommitted to unity, within days the children began to settle. Children breathe what their parents broadcast.

Prayer & Declaration

Stand together. Sweep the air with your declaration:

AMEN Commission Beloved couple, today you became the gatekeepers of the atmosphere of your home. The Holy Ghost will stay where He is welcomed and withdraw where He is wounded, and you have just made Him welcome again. Guard the air. Guard the heart. Guard the tongue. The home you guard for the Holy Ghost is the home the Holy Ghost guards for you.

This week 1. Identify one thing you have said or done that has grieved the Spirit and wounded peace.

Act, confess it out loud to your spouse, ask for forgiveness, and forgive freely. Let it go

before you sleep.

Pray, "Holy Ghost, fill this air. Where we have grieved You, return. In Jesus' name."
