Beloved, hear me as we come to the last chapter of this book.

There is a verb in Mark 5:20 that I want you to feel the weight of. It is the verb publish. "And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him." That word is not a casual word. In the Greek it is kerusso, to herald, to announce as a public proclamation, to declare with the authority of an ambassador. The delivered man of Gadara did not whisper. He did not edit. He did not weigh whether the audience was ready. He published. And he did it across ten cities, for that is what Decapolis means: ten cities, ten urban centres, an entire regional federation of the ancient Near East. One delivered man. Ten cities. Published.

I want you to sit with that scale, friend. The same Jesus who left the country at the request of the Gadarenes left behind one man who went on to evangelise the very region that had rejected the Saviour. The very land that had begged Jesus to leave became the land that heard the gospel through the lips of its most despised son. The man who had been chained in the tombs became the first New Testament evangelist of the Decapolis. That is heaven's mathematics. One restored mouth in a region the Saviour was sent away from, and the region heard everything anyway.

This is the chapter that asks you the final question of this book, beloved. What are you publishing? Because every other chapter has been preparing you for this one. The breaking. The drawing. The pressing. The receiving. The reconnecting. The fire. All of it was for this. Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee (Mark 5:19). Restoration without publication is incomplete. Deliverance without declaration is unfinished. Fire without flame-spread is half-done. So put it on your conscience now, you are not restored to sit quiet. You are restored to publish.

Your testimony is the key that unlocks your Decapolis.

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
Mark 5:19 KJV
And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
Mark 5:20 KJV

Beloved, look at the moment in Mark 5:18 that we usually skip past. "And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him." The delivered man begged to stay with Jesus. He wanted to climb into the boat and go wherever Jesus was going. After what he had been through, the tombs, the chains, the cutting, the legions inside him, can you blame him? He had finally found the One Person who saw him as a man and not as a monster, and he did not want to lose Him.

But watch what Jesus does, friend. "Howbeit Jesus suffered him not." Jesus does not let him stay. The Saviour who just spent the most intense hour of regional ministry on this man's behalf turns to him and says, you are not coming with Me. You are going home. That is not rejection. That is deployment. Jesus is not pushing the man away. Jesus is sending the man. He is saying, the deliverance was never about getting you into My boat. The deliverance was about getting Me into your country through your mouth.

Hear me, beloved. Many of us have been like the delivered man in Mark 5:18. We have begged the Lord to let us stay in the encounter. We have wanted to live in the prayer room, live in the conference, live in the worship night, live in the deliverance service that broke us free. And the Lord has been telling us, no, beloved, that was not the destination. That was the launching pad. The encounter was a send-off, not a settle-in. The boat is leaving without you because you have a Decapolis to publish in. Mark 5:20, And he departed, and began to publish. Watch the action. He departed. He left the encounter and went toward the territory. The hours after a deep encounter with Jesus are not for sitting still. They are for departing toward the region. Beloved, the most fruitful evangelist of the Decapolis was a man who had not been to seminary, had not been discipled by an apostle, had not memorised long passages of scripture. He was a man who had been with Jesus for one hour, and he obeyed the instruction go and tell. That is enough. That has always been enough.

Prayer

I pray over every reader today, let the boat-instinct die in you in Jesus' name. Let the departing-instinct rise in you in Jesus' name. Go home to thy friends, and tell them. Amen.

***
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
Psalm 107:2 KJV

Beloved, look at where Jesus sent the delivered man. Go home to thy friends. Not to a stranger-city where he could start clean. Not to a faraway region where nobody knew his history. Home. To the very people who had known him when he was chained. To the village that had heard him crying in the tombs night after night. To the relatives who had given up on him long ago. Jesus sent him back to the place that had watched him fall apart.

Why? Because that, friend, is where the testimony has the most weight. The strangers in a new town can be told I was once delivered and they have to take your word for it. But your old neighbours? They remember the chains. They remember the screaming. They remember the look in your eyes. They do not need to take your word for it. You walking up to their door in your right mind is itself an evangelistic event. Restoration is loudest among the people who knew you in your brokenness.

That is why Psalm 107:2 says let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Not let the redeemed of the Lord infer it. Not let the redeemed of the Lord imply it through their lifestyle. Say so. Out loud. With words. The redemption is supposed to come out of the mouth. Lifestyle-only-evangelism is a half-measure, beloved. The lifestyle preaches something has happened. The mouth preaches Who did it. Both are needed. And Jesus told the delivered man to do both, go home (lifestyle, presence, return) and tell them (mouth, words, naming the Saviour).

So I want to challenge a culture that has crept into many believers, friend. The culture that says, I will not preach with my mouth, I will let my life preach for me. That is a half-gospel. Your life cannot tell them His name. Your life cannot quote His scripture. Your life cannot lead them in the sinner's prayer. Your mouth must do that work. The lifestyle confirms the testimony, but the testimony has to be spoken. The redeemed of the Lord say so.

And start at home, beloved. Start where they remember you broken. Start where the contrast is sharpest. Start with the family member who has been watching from the side. Start with the colleague who knew you in your worst season. Start with the friend who buried you long ago and would be shocked to find you alive. Go home to thy friends, and tell them. That is the order. Local before regional. Familiar before unfamiliar. Decapolis began at the doorstep of home.

Prayer

Lord, give every reader a list of the friends they have been avoiding because the testimony has not yet been told. Send us back to those doorsteps with words in our mouths in Jesus' name. Amen.

And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
Mark 5:20 KJV
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:11 KJV

Beloved, look carefully at Mark 5:20 one more time. He published how great things Jesus had done for him. Not how great things he had achieved. Not how great things he had figured out. Not how great things he had overcome through grit and willpower. How great things Jesus had done for him. The grammar of the testimony is Jesus-centred. The subject of the verb is Jesus. The action of the verb is did. The recipient of the action is the delivered man. The man is the recipient of the testimony, not the hero of it.

Hear me, friend. There is a kind of testimony that puffs the believer and starves the listener. The testimony that says, look how far I have come, look what I have overcome, look at my journey. And there is a kind of testimony that lifts Jesus and feeds the listener. The testimony that says, look what Jesus did, look how He came for me, look how the anointing broke the yoke. The first kind builds the testifier. The second kind builds the kingdom. Publish the second kind.

Beloved, your testimony is not your résumé. It is not the highlight reel of your spiritual progress. It is the evidence that Jesus is still doing in the present what He did in the gospels. The hearer does not need your performance. The hearer needs Jesus. And every time you keep the testimony Jesus-centred, you are putting Him in front of a person who may not yet have met Him directly. Your testimony becomes the introduction of the listener to the Saviour. That is what publishing is for. Not self-amplification. Christ-amplification through the mouth of a redeemed witness.

Revelation 12:11 gives us the spiritual physics of this, they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony. There are two weapons in that verse. The blood, what Jesus did at Calvary. And the word of the testimony, what Jesus did in you. Both are required. The blood alone, without the spoken word of the testimony, leaves the enemy unchallenged in the territory where you have been delivered. The spoken word, without the blood, has no foundation. But the two together, the blood of the Lamb plus the word of the testimony, that is the spiritual artillery that overcomes the accuser in every territory the redeemed open their mouth in.

So when you publish, friend, keep it Jesus-centred and keep the blood near. Jesus did this for me. He paid for this with His own blood. He has not stopped doing it for the next person who hears. That is the shape of a yoke-breaking testimony. That is the kind of word that all men marvelled at when the delivered man of Gadara opened his mouth in Decapolis.

Prayer

Holy Ghost, train every reader to publish what You did and not what they did. Keep our testimonies Jesus-centred. Keep the blood near our mouths. Let every word we publish be a yoke-breaker. In Jesus' name. Amen.

***
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matthew 5:14 KJV
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isaiah 60:1 KJV

Beloved, watch the language Jesus used in Matthew 5:14. He did not say you are a light in the world. He said you are the light of the world. He did not say you are a small candle in a dark room. He said you are a city that is set on a hill. Watch the scale. The believer is described as a city. Not a streetlamp. Not a flashlight. A city. And a city set on a hill cannot be hid. The light is not optional. The visibility is not optional. The size is not negotiable.

Friend, hear what Jesus is saying. The believer in their right place is a regional landmark. The territory cannot pretend the believer is not there. The community cannot ignore the city on the hill. The light occupies geography. The light is not a private possession that you turn on for your own benefit and then put back in a cupboard. The light takes ground. The light displaces darkness. The light announces to the surrounding country that something has come to stay.

And Isaiah 60:1 reinforces it, arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Watch the order of the verbs. Arise. Shine. The arising comes before the shining. You cannot shine sitting down. You cannot shine hiding. You cannot shine while you are still negotiating with the old identity that the spirits in the territory have been speaking over you. Arise, then shine. The arising is the posture-change. The shining is the visibility-change. And the visibility is to the land.

Beloved, you have not been delivered to be invisible. You have not been reconnected to the fire to live discreetly. You have not been given the testimony of Jesus to keep it under polite social cover. Arise, shine, friend, this is the apostolic instruction over your life right now. The light is come. The glory is risen. The city is on the hill. Step up onto it. Let yourself be seen by the territory the Lord has assigned you to.

Prayer

Some readers have spent years apologising for the brightness on them. Hear me, the brightness was put on you on purpose. The visibility is not vanity. The visibility is strategy. Darkness cannot administer a region where light has chosen to be seen. The city on the hill is not optional infrastructure for the kingdom. It is how the kingdom holds territory. I decree over you right now, every spirit that has been training you to hide, break in Jesus' name. Every voice that has been telling you the brightness is too much, be silenced in Jesus' name. Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Amen.

***

Beloved, hear this, the delivered man of Gadara did not publish in one city and call it done. He published in Decapolis. Ten cities. Not one conversation. A sustained campaign across an entire regional federation. He kept going. He kept telling. He kept moving from city to city until the whole region had heard. And the text says all men did marvel. The marvel did not come from one testimony. The marvel came from a sustained occupation of the territory with a Jesus-centred witness.

Friend, you are not called to one conversation. You are called to a campaign. Your Decapolis is the ten places, and they may not literally be ten cities, but they are ten spheres of influence, where the Lord has placed you as His witness. The family. The workplace. The school gate. The neighbourhood. The online platform. The church. The marketplace. The community group. The friendships. The strangers in passing. Each of those is a city in your Decapolis. And you have been assigned to publish in each of them until the territory shifts.

Let me give you four rhythms for publishing until the territory shifts.

One, publish one specific testimony daily. Every morning, name out loud one thing Jesus has done in you that the territory needs to hear. Speak it audibly in your house before you step out. Then carry it with you, ready to be told, all day. When the Spirit prompts, drop it into the conversation.

Two, publish to one specific person weekly. Pick a person from your Decapolis list at the start of the week. Pray for them. Watch for opportunity. Publish to them before the week ends. Do not let the week close with the testimony untold to that one name.

Three, publish in one specific sphere monthly. Pick one of the ten cities of your Decapolis each month and concentrate there. If it is the workplace this month, be intentional about every conversation there. If it is the online sphere this month, post the testimony, share the scripture, write the witness. Move through the spheres so all ten get worked on across the year. Four, refuse to grow tired of saying so. Beloved, the territory shifts on repetition. The same Jesus-centred word, spoken over the same region by the same delivered believer, over the same set of years, that is what shifts territory. One testimony in one season does not occupy a region. Sustained publication occupies it. Do not let weariness silence you. Do not let the appearance that nothing is changing turn the volume down. All men did marvel eventually. Heaven measures testimony in cumulative weight. Keep adding to it.

Prayer

I pray over you, the grace of sustained publication come on you in Jesus' name. The endurance to publish in all ten cities of your Decapolis come on you in Jesus' name. The territory in your assignment shift under the weight of cumulative Jesus-centred testimony in Jesus' name. Amen.

***

Father, in the name of Jesus, You restored me to send me. I refuse to hide what You have done. I will not stay in the boat. I will not beg to remain in the encounter while You are sending me to the territory. I depart. I go home. I tell.

Holy Ghost, make me bold to speak in my Decapolis. Loose my tongue from every fear of being seen, every shame of being known, every weariness of being misunderstood. Let my testimony carry fire that breaks yokes and shifts territory. Let every word I publish be Jesus-centred and blood-anchored. Let every conversation be a doorway through which the Saviour walks into the room.

I am the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. I arise. I shine. My light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me. Let my territory see the brightness. Let the regions assigned to me marvel at what You have done for me, until the marvel becomes the door through which they meet You themselves.

Prayer

I command every stranger out of my territory now in Jesus' name. I publish in my Decapolis what the Lord has done for me. I am the redeemed of the Lord, and I say so. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

***

Beloved, the book is closing. But the assignment is opening.

Write down, today, the ten cities of your Decapolis. Not metaphorically. Literally. Take a sheet of paper or open a note on your phone, and list the ten specific spheres in which you have been planted as a witness. Then beside each one, write one specific person in that sphere who needs to hear how great things Jesus has done for you. Ten cities. Ten names. That is your map.

Then this week, publish in at least one. Go home to those friends. Open your mouth. Speak the Jesus-centred testimony. Do not edit it for politeness. Do not soften it for the room. Do not delay it for a better season. Publish.

And come back to your Decapolis map every month. Cross off names as you publish. Add names as the Spirit highlights them. Keep going until the territory marvels.

Your testimony is the key that unlocks your Decapolis. Arise, shine, and publish. The land is waiting.

Conclusion: Go and Tell The Closing Commission

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
Mark 5:19-20 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8 KJV
***

Beloved, hear me as we come to the closing pages.

You did not pick up this book by accident. The Holy Ghost arranged the meeting between your eyes and these chapters because there is a Decapolis somewhere, a region, a family, a workplace, a street, a generation, that has been waiting for a delivered believer to publish what Jesus has done. The land has been waiting for the redeemed of the Lord to say so. And now you have walked through ten chapters of breaking, drawing, pressing, receiving, restoring, reconnecting, and publishing. The package has been opened. The fire has been lit. The mitre has been set.

But friend, a book cannot send you. Only the Holy Ghost can send you. And so the closing pages of this book are not for teaching anymore. They are for impartation. They are for the laying-on of words. They are for the kind of prayer that closes the cover of the book with a deposit you carry into the rest of your life.

So stop reading silently for a moment. Stand up if you can. Open your hands. Lift your face. Quiet your house. This is the part of the book where heaven meets you to send you, not just to inform you. Some of what is about to come will read like instruction. Receive it as deposit. Some of what is about to come will read like prayer. Speak it out loud. The deposit is not made by analysis. The deposit is made by yielding to the One who packaged this message for your exploits.

The same Jesus who cast out Legion is sending you now. The same fire that reconnected Joshua is burning through you now. Go and tell.
***

Beloved, before the fire falls, hear the charge. Hear what you have come into. Hear what you carry as you walk out of this book.

You are not just delivered. You are restored. The chains that bound the man in the tombs were not the end of his story, Jesus put him back in his right mind, in his clothes, in his community, in his name. The Holy Ghost has done the same in you. The bondage was the crisis, not the identity. Walk out of this book in your right mind. Walk out clothed. Walk out yourself again.

You are not just restored. You are named. The demons answered for you for too long, friend. They said Legion. We are many. They tried to give the spirits of the territory authority to define you. But Jesus has asked you the question, what is thy name?, and the answer is no longer being negotiated by hell. The answer is being spoken by heaven. Son. Daughter. Branch of the Lord. Brand plucked out of the fire. Priest. Witness. Land deliverer. That is your name now. Walk in it.

You are not just named. You are reconnected. The filthy garment is off. The fair mitre is on. The accusation has been silenced by the Lord that has chosen your Jerusalem. The Vine has restored its sap into the branch. The fire has fallen, and it has done its three works, removed the accusation, restored the identity, released the commission. You are no longer wearing what you cannot possess.

You are not just reconnected. You are sent. Go home to thy friends, and tell them. That is the verb that closes Mark 5. Go. Not sit. Not stay. Not settle. Not cope. Go. The boat has left without you on purpose. The territory is in front of you. The ten cities of your Decapolis are waiting. You are not restored to remain in the encounter, you are restored to publish in the region.

Hear me, beloved, these four words are the spine of what you carry out of this book. Delivered. Restored. Named. Reconnected. Sent. If anyone asks you what the Lord did for you through these pages, tell them this, He delivered me, restored me, named me, reconnected me, and sent me. That is the testimony. That is what you publish. That is what shifts territory.

Now lift your hands, friend. The impartation is about to begin.
***

Beloved, what follows are four short impartation prayers. Read them slowly. Read them out loud. Pause after each one. Let the Holy Ghost do His work in the silence between them. Do not rush. He meets the ones who come without rushing.

Impartation One, The Fire Upon Me

Prayer

Holy Ghost, I open my life to You. Burn through me afresh. Release the fire upon me for freedom. Let the same fire that fell on the apostles fall on me. Let the same fire that reconnected Joshua reconnect me. I refuse to live a half-fire life. I receive the full deposit. Holy Ghost, burn through me, body, soul, and spirit. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Pause. Sixty seconds of silence. Let Him fall.

Impartation Two, The Name Restored

Prayer

Jesus, I reject every name the enemy gave me. I am not what my situation called me. I am not what my location called me. I am not what my past called me. I receive the name You have spoken over me. Son. Daughter. Branch of the Lord. Priest of Your house. Witness in my territory. Set the fair mitre on my head. Restore my identity in full. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Pause. Sixty seconds of silence. Receive the name. Impartation Three, The Commission Released

Prayer

Lord, I receive my Decapolis assignment. The ten cities You have placed me in, family, workplace, neighbourhood, friendship, online, marketplace, community, ministry, generation, and the one I have not yet named, I receive responsibility for each. I will publish in each one what You have done for me. I will not stop with one conversation. I will keep going until the territory shifts. Send me with the boldness of the man of Gadara, with the burden of Joshua for Jerusalem, with the fire of the apostles in the upper room. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Pause. Sixty seconds. Receive the commission.

Impartation Four, The Boundless Ministry

Prayer

Holy Ghost, I refuse a small ministry. I receive the package You sent me, exceeding abundantly above all I can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in me. Let my drawing be daily. Let my publishing be daily. Let my yielding be daily. Let exploits become my normal, not as performance, but as the natural fruit of abiding in the Vine. Let my testimony break yokes in every territory my voice enters. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, and let me be one of the redeemed who never stops saying. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Pause. Sit for two or three minutes. Do not break the moment.
***

Beloved, three rules for the next day. Take them seriously. They are how this impartation roots.

One, do not break the moment. Stay quiet with Him for at least five more minutes after you finish this section. Do not immediately reach for your phone. Do not rush into conversation. Do not start scrolling. Sit. Listen. Let what just happened settle. The Holy Ghost often deposits in the quiet that follows the prayer, not in the prayer itself. Do not skip the after-quiet.

Two, walk it out. Whatever the Holy Ghost names to you in the next twenty-four hours, publish to that person, pray over that territory, call that family member, give to that cause, write down that vision, do not delay it past the day. Impartation is preserved by obedience. The fire that has fallen on you tonight stays fresh on the wick of a believer who walks. The fire dims on the wick of a believer who analyses.

Three, guard the rhythm. Go back to Chapter 7. Re-read the three daily currents, draw, publish, yield. Mark them on your calendar. Set them into your morning. Do not let the deposit of this book be a one-week wonder that fades by month two. The mantle stays fresh on a tended altar. Build the altar today.

***

Beloved, before we close, one last word. Some readers came to this book carrying the assignment of an entire territory and they did not know it. The man in the tombs was carrying Gadara. Joshua was carrying Jerusalem. Each of them was the only one standing for a whole land in the heavenly court. No man pleaded for the country in Gadara. So Jesus left them. I do not want that to be the line written over your generation, friend.

So hear the final plea of this book. Pray for your land. Not just for yourself. Not just for your family. Pray for the country, the city, the region, the people, the territory the Lord has set you in. Stand in the gap. Make up the hedge. Be the one intercessor Gadara never had. Plead for the country. The same Jesus who turned around in a crowded street for one woman's reach will turn around for one believer's plea over a land. The history of any generation can be re-written by one believer with a Decapolis-shaped burden.

You may be that believer. The Holy Ghost may have put this book in your hand to make sure you do not leave this earth without making the plea your land has been waiting for. Lord, save my country. Lord, deliver my city. Lord, send fire on this region. Lord, give us a man, and let it be me.

***

Beloved, stand if you have been sitting. Lay your hand on your own head. Speak this slowly over yourself.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive the closing word over my life. I am delivered. I am restored. I am named. I am reconnected. I am sent. The Holy Ghost is upon me. The fire is on me. The mitre is on me. The package is in my hand. I refuse to live on the surface. I refuse to coast in survival. I refuse to drop the testimony. I carry Him boundlessly, into homes, workplaces, hospitals, schools, marketplaces, prisons, streets, screens, and seasons I have not yet seen. Where He goes, I go. What He says, I say. Let depth produce mantle. Let mantle produce fire. Let fire produce fruit that outlives me. I am the redeemed of the Lord, and I say so. I am the light of the world, and I will not be hid. I am the branch of the Lord, and the sap of the Vine flows in me. I am the witness of Jesus Christ, and I publish in my Decapolis what He has done for me. In Jesus' precious name. Amen and Amen. Hallelujah.

***

Beloved, the book closes here, but the assignment does not.

You walked in carrying chains the enemy had been speaking over you. You walk out carrying the fire heaven packaged for your exploits. You walked in unsure whether the anointing was for you. You walk out knowing that the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. You walked in trying to figure out why your prayers had not yet broken the territory. You walk out understanding that no man had been pleading for the country, and that the Lord has now made you the one. You walked in as a reader. You walk out as a publisher.

The same Jesus who cast out Legion is sending you now. The same fire that reconnected Joshua is burning through you now. The same crowd that pressed Him still presses Him, but you are no longer one of the pressers. You are one of the ones who touched. And the same Holy Ghost who turned a man in the tombs into the first evangelist of the Decapolis is turning you, right now, into the publisher your land has been waiting for.

So do not close this book and put it on a shelf, beloved. Close this book and put it on the altar. Then go. Speak. Tell. Publish. Pray for your land. Stand in the gap. Be the man of Gadara for your region. Be the brand plucked out of the fire for your Jerusalem. Be the woman who pressed through the crowd and now teaches others how to press.

The land is waiting. The fire is on you. Now go.

Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee. In Jesus' name. Amen and Amen. Hallelujah.
